My first post!

Okay... here goes.. my very first blog post!!
It has taken me days actually to get just my profile done and add a few pics of us... yikes! 
I'm not sure how I'm going to do at this blogging thing, but I thought it would be a nice way to keep track of things going on with us (funny stories, cute pics of the kids, things going on around our house, etc). I thought it would be nice for our family/friends far away also.. other than facebook (I'm not a huge fan of facebook, to be honest).
